Gean Genet, Allen Ginsberg, Chicago, August 1968. Esquire Magazine had commissioned Genet, Ginsberg, Terry Southern and Burroughs to write a story on the convention, Genet however had to sneak into the country from Canada because of his prior ‘criminal’ record in France.
Ginsberg also testified in the Chicago 8 trial
